    Default cannot remove apps!

    hey guys.
ive tried everything. I search the forum, followed all the tutorials, and i still cant figure this out.
i installed NES.app through SSH, and all worked fine.
but then, trying to delete it, it says: Error deleting 'Nes.App'.
I have replaces the iphone-binkit.0.6, I have replaced de rm binary in the bin folder, I have changed to 0755, I have crossed all the X in the NES.app (permission), and it stills wont let me delete the file!

any help would be much appreciated.

Try SSHing to your phone and, as root, cd to Applications and 'rm -fr NES.app'. Be VERY careful that you type it right, else you may end up with an iBrick.

If you have installed the binkit from http://iphone.natetrue.com then you should have rm. If you type 'rm <file>' and it says something about execute permission denied, try 'chmod 555 /bin/*'.

Also, it is not actually "ssh" commands. SSH is simply a means to getting access to the UNIX command prompt. Just google 'unix commands' and you will find something useful.

However, the binkit does not have every single binary that you would usually find on full blown UNIX machine, so some commands may not be found.
