Cannot boot anymore (stuck on the apple ...)
Hi,
Firstly, here is my configuration:
iPhone 1.1.2 US oob, jailbreaked & soft unlocked via geohotz method.
Upgraded to 1.1.3 via official team update.
I think I am in trouble ... all happened after a succession of mistakes I did, here we go:
All started with changing the root password in cli with the command passwd, despite all warnings available... (you can blame me)
the springboard started to crash in loop as expected after the next reboot. Was still able to ssh to my phone.
The I tried to follow instructions found there :
george zjlotto's blog on the BSD Subsystem ‘passwd’ Utility section.
So I started to edit the master.passwd file to put the correct hash generated with perl as mentionned.
Then the 2nd mess came, I edited it wrong and wr+q accidentally.
Was then not able to ssh or so with root user.
Pushed Sleep+Menu some secs, then it reboot.
Now it's stuck on the apple logo. I was thinking that the phone entered DFU mode, so connected it to the mac.
Not seen by either iTunes or independance. Not even a hardware connection seems to happen.
I'am lost right there...
Any help is welcome
P.S : messages like "u noob asshole, what did you do" and so on are not considered as "help"

Answering my own thread, I'am currently out of troubles.
Had to done a restore via the hidden recovery mode available on 1.1.2/1.1.3 mode.
Followed instructions found on that thread.
Already done again my unlock/update to 1.1.3. Have to reinstall my apps now
