    Hi

is there a way to do that? maybe from the serial no, or any of the other numbers on the back of the iPhone?

Check the serial number on the back of the box, there's a week number hidden in there.

Week 38 and under are 1.0.2 or older firmware
Week 39 could be either 1.0.2 or 1.1.1 (50% chance)
    Week 40+ are all 1.1.1

    that didnt help.

the serial no is like this:

    xTxx39PxHWHx

    the x indicates numbers.....do u mean that number, 39?

my other iphone, which i activated and unlocked a month ago, instead of the 39 i have 30

    You need XXX2 digits hereXXXXX

That is the week number. What is written above helps.

You also need to look at the number before what you've written.
