hey guys im new to forums and stuff, so sorry if im not supposed to be putting a message here but i was looking to buying an iPhone on ebay, i have found a hack for the iphone, but is it worth it?, can u actually put an english sim card in and use it for calls?....and messages...etc?....

*Currently*, with the hack you can activate the phone which gives you all the functionality EXCEPT phone and YouTube - so no SMS, no calls, etc.

The *hope* is that there will be another leap forward shortly and you will be able to unlock the phone so that you can use it on any network - but that is *currently* NOT possible.

I assume you're not in the US, otherwise you could just buy a phone and get an at&t contracts!
