Question Can this type of Iphone can be unlocked ??

Hello Friends, I have iphone which had code locked by user on the iphone his version was 1.1.1 and without unlocked code he just updated the software with 1.1.4.

And now problem is after upgrading the firmware it has to be jailbreak for which it needs to syncronize with computer or itunes but now it is itunes says "THIS PHONE IS LOCKED PLEASE ENTER THE PHONE CODE" and i cannot enter the code becasue it is "Slide to Emergeny" screen and i cannot enter the code.

I have tried to put it in recovery mode by pressing power and home button but it restarts but its not going in recovery mode, so i can jailbreak with ziphone please advice me if any one has faced similar problem.

well, try turning it off and connect the iphone to the computer while holding the home button until you see the restore screen.

Im guessing your only option is to do a restore whilst in dfu mode. Use iliberty+ to put the phone in dfu mode if you cannot do it yourself. Use dfu mode NOT restore as it is a deeper recovery mode and so is more likely to remove the lock when it restores.
