I have read all of the threads about phones with corrupted sms.db or about not receiving flash SMS, but this seems to be a bit different. I can receive SMS from all of my contacts with the exception of one. I will get one message from him, and that's it... nothing more.

I have completely removed my sms.db and started from scratch, but as before. I got one SMS and no sign of any of the others. He says that he is getting his SMS receive notification, but I see no sign of it on my side.

Has anybody seen anything like this before? Any thoughts on how I could begin troubleshooting?
