Can the iPhone be officially activated with iTunes after a jailbreak
Hi All.
Tomorrow I will have my iPhone and at the moment I am undecided if to sign up officially to an O2 iPhone contract (which will let me bin the expensive contract I have now thanks to O2 allowing this)
or
If I should buy an SIM Only O2 deal, jailbreak my phone and use that.
Ideally I would like to jailbreak my phone tomorrow see how it goes using a temporary O2 sim, and then at a later date register with an O2 contract through iTunes (normally on first connection to iTunes) if I wished to do so.
Only thing is I don’t know if I would be able to get back to the O2 contract sign up in iTunes after I have jailbroken my phone. Does anyone know if this is possible. A phone restore might do the trick, but I need to have this confirmed either way
Thanks

This is possible yes,
If you want to use your o2 contract follow the steps to jailbreak 1.1.2
But when you get to the part once you have updated to 1.1.2 activate your iphone officailly when itunes asks then run the jailbreak app
If you dont want to use the officall contract straight away just jailbreak then, and any uk o2 sim will work
BUT if you then decided to use the officail contract you will have to go through all the steps again!
Hope that helps and Happy Christmas
When you get your iphone and if you need help after christmas or if your lucky on christmas day i might be on the computer so just PM me and i will see can i help some more!
