Sorry If this question is in the wrong forums everybody, but you see, a friend of mine is selling a brand new iphone 4s sprint model for a measly $300.

Now I have come to the understanding that the Iphone 4s for Sprint is CDMA, but it DOES have a slim card slot that can be used with NON - US BASED SIM CARDS (international) . If jailbroken then unlocked, will it accept T-mobile sim cards? (usa)

Conceptually this is possible, because the 4S supports both CDMA and GSM bands, however, T-Mobile's 3G is not the same band as the remainder of the world's 3G, so you will only get 2G data speeds on the iPhone 4S on T-Mobile's network. Beyond that, there is no software yet available to allow this -- no unlock exists for the 4S.
