    wow seriously??

ok first download sbsettings onto that itouchphone then using poof, hide all the apps that only iphones have, then arranger the icons just like a touch, last untoggle the EDGE and phone toggle in sbsettings
that will give you, no phone with wifi still intact

but ull have that anoying sim message i think

You guys sound surprised that he wants to use it as an iPod only. When I first bought my original 2g iPhone (Oct07) that is exactly what I did. I removed the sim. When I wasn't going to use the internet I just kept airplane mode active. If I planned on using it, then I would activate wifi. Not a big problem at all in my eyes.

Using it as a touch is what eventually hooked me on it being the best phone around. I promptly sold my BB Pearl and have never looked back
