can i edit google maps.app as the same edit number format in appsupport??

Googlemap in iphone does not support China map, sat can display. i wont to modify it to show map in china!

as far as i know its the chinese government which does not allow to provide chinese satellite maps

I got the same problem in mexico, google maps updated it on thier website, but i get no maps in maps.app on the iphone, just the satelite pictures

i think it will work,if we can edit the maps app,just edit the map servers url in this app

i have no trouble seeing china or mexico, both sat and road views work at all zooms.

for china im thinking yes its restricted by the government and what you can see on the web version has been approved or altered from what the rest of the world sees. (so yes some kind of edit to maps.app would make it work in that you would ge tthe censored version like on your computer) mexico beats me though, didnt know they blocked stuff.

It would not be an edit to Maps.app, because the app is the same version on iPhones unlocked in China, you would need to use some sort of proxy when connecting to Maps to that it doesn't see your location as China and provides you with the proper maps instead.

I was wondering the same thing, im in mexico but the maps.app doesn't show street names nor roads, only satelite photos but the Web version does have MAPS...
