Can editing a carrier.plist bring back tethering?
Ok folks, that was a simple question...
I have an offically unlocked iPhone 3G. My operator became last week an apple recognized operator, so I got some carrier settings installed. Tethering didn't work, and it is not working now.
Is there anything I can change on my carrier's carrier.plist (into its ipcc) so I can enable tethering?
Yours,
Francis

If you are running OS 3.0 or 3.0.1 yes.
Os 3.1 and higher require a patch to commcenter and changes to ipcc.

Thanks!
Which changes and patch should I apply then?
I've got 3.1.2, non-jailbroken. Do I need to jailbreak?

Yes you do. CommCenter needs to be patched, no way without jb.
