I'm using Services.app to block EDGE use (I don't even have it activated on my mobile account). However, every time I make any sort of http request, before finding a wifi network, my phone still displays "Cannot activate EDGE". Having disabled this feature, the error message seems redundant Is there a way to disable EDGE more thoroughly so that this error dialogue isn't displayed every time I connect via Wifi?

Firmware 1.1.2, Anysim 1.2u, Canada/Rogers

Doesn't seem to me that Netservices controls EDGE any differently than services; it only allows other service toggles. Plus, seems to be having problems with 1.1.2...

Netservices stops EDGE completely. No icon on top and no EDGE connection message is shown.
