"call forwarding active"
Over the weekend I unlocked my newiphone with the manual software unlock method. Everything went well and now I only have two problems:
1) this seems to be wide-spread. I store all my #s in international format (+XXX-XXXXXXXX) and as a sult all incoming calls only displayed as number, no caller diaplay.
2) I just noticed this. It seems that every time i make a call i get a message saying "call forwarding active and I have to tap it to dismiss it. However call forward is NOT active on the phone. I tried some tests and it seems to work fine. Anyone else experiencing this? I am located in Hong Kong using one of the local GSM networks (People)

Thee has been a post on this before. You do not have to tap to dismiss, the call will go out anyway. Do not know how to make the message go away however. It seems some carriers have this. I have it with Digicel in Trinidad.
If at first you don't succeed, don't try skydiving

Yeah, I am getting the same message. It started when I activated missed call notification (SMS). The operator should really use some lower level mechanism.
