Only works for firmware 1.x. And please stay away from the solution. It uses the same weak ramdisk-process ZiPhone (unpatched) used. That caused really trouble in the past. The only safe way would be the use of iLiberty with a modified ramdisk - but this only works for firmware 1.x.

For Firmware 2.x a special custom firmware has to be created that does the trick. This is used by forensic experts to recover data...

    Unhappy Restriction passcode

I just upgraded my iphone to 2.2.1 firmware by giving it to a guy who does this stuff. He has enabled RESTRICTIONS by putting a passcode by which I cannot upload any applications to my iPhone. I there a way to unlock it. Please help. Thanks.

You let someone unlock your iPhone and probably paid for it and this guy locks you out from your own iPhone? I'd call the police for sure.

back to your problem: Is it an iPhone 3G (new one) or old 2G?
