Buying iPhone from Apple's website?
I was wondering how difficult it would be to buy a iPhone direct from Apple's online store and then unlock it myself?
I see that iPhones on ebay are generally $100-$150 more expensive. Is it really that hard to do?
Also...would anyone be able to tell me what steps are required to unlock a 'virgin' / newly purchased iPhone...not the step-by-step...just maybe a bulleted list...like jailbreak, downgrade to firmware x.x.x.
Thanks!

1. you can't even post in the right forum
2. you started a new thread about something which has been discussed THOUSANDS of times
3. you apparently don't know how to use the SEARCH function in a forum
4. you ask stupid questions ("is it hard to do?"...Hundreds of people ask desperate questions...if you would actually READ you'd know and you ask the most intelligent question of all :p)
Sorry but you better buy an unlocked and ready to use iPhone from eBay because you don't have the brains to do the job yourself.
Am I harsh with you? Of course I am, same right for you as for anybody else. A lot of people here worked hard STEP by STEP to achieve what they wanted and I bet some of them are really proud because they would probably never have imagined they can do such stuff (me including). Do you really expect to get a decent response to your dumb question? I doubt it.
PLEASE don't waste our time. If you're serious about doing the job, come back and start like everybody else: by using the SEARCH function, reading related posts, using Google for some extra information and asking ONLY questions when you're stuck or in trouble. Thank you.

With all due respect...you need to relax.
1. Sorry I posted in the wrong forum.
2. N/A.
3. Yes I do. I've been reading and wanted clairification as things seem to change pretty frequently around here and I've been having difficulty establishing a timeline.
4. Kinda relates to 3?
Reeeeeeelax. Instead of ranting on and flaming someone a simple answer would have done it. If this offended you this much, and you took the time to write such a lengthy and detailed reply...maybe you should sticky it
Thanks again!
