Today my uncle visited an applestore in USA trying to buy a iPhone, and they wanted him to sign something. He said now, and they did not allow him to buy it!

Is this normal? Should he sign the att agreement or try to find another applestore?

When i bought mine from the AT&T store they just handed me the phone after I paid and I left. You have to activate i using iTunes, so try going to an AT&T store instead.

This could be apple trying to force us to activate?

wheb i bought mine here in the uk from cpw they made me sign a form before i could have it and after i paid for it.

funny thing is that the form i signed was for me....lol

they never had a copy of it,they just wanted to see me sign it

The reason they make you sign is a declaration that you understand you may return the iphone for a refund within 14 days if you fail the credit check online on activation.
That's the reason the guy in CPW gave me anyway. Also he gave me the part I signed and never kept a copy for himself
