[BRICKED PHONES] bbupdater issue, please Dev Team, HELP US!
to all the brave of the Dev Team:
tons of people are esperiencing the "1011" error, aka "NO SIM", aka "Phone needs to be repaired", aka "NO SOUND AT ALL", but rewriting the bb firmare does not helps.
we all are getting "firmware is too old", we need a REAL solutions, i'm thinking on a "patched" version of bbupdater that can write unattendly the whole firmware on the bb.
anyone of us of Dev Team can PLEASE help us to unbrick our Apple jewel??
thanks in advance, for us outside US that cannot goes easily to any USA Apple Store is the LAST chance before throw the iPhone.

iRev... did you use wifirecovery.bat or something like that???
the one that installs the Terminal.app

What method of unlocking were you using, iRev? SW or HW?

ok, i've now two iPhone bricked, one has been HW unlocked (made in a laboratory with proper tools, i can confirm is not ad hardware issue), an the other SW unlocked.
i mean: HW fails writing and the phone reboot itsel during bbupdater, the other in the middle of iUnlock stop responding, and after 3 hours stop also responding to the touch.
i can firmly exclude any mistake, 'cause ive already unlocked 8 iPhones (3 HW e 5 SW) that are now working great with Italian Carriers (bot TIM and Vodafone).
i've tried also almost everithing, rescuewifi.bat also. i've also wrote a bash script that automagically stop the Comm Interface, and via Termina.App on the phone i run dozen of time bbupdater.
no way. aways the same error: "the bootloader is too old", even rewriting in different order the fls and epp.
notice: with altready unlocked phone i've made a "restore" from iTunes, and the phone remain unlocked. so we can say: the firmware restore from Apple DOES NOT influence the bb firmare. and this is the reason because you can exit the 1011 error code despite the rumors.
that's all men, now i'm rewriting the rescuewifi.bat to a bash script in a more confortable way for me (i'm a Linux evangelist), to use with the new iPhoneInterface executable for OSX.
any help with bbupdater - means also HW reset/soldering/dismounting or anything you think can helps - will be REALLY appreciated.

One the many posts about bricked phones should be made sticky, so we dont have to keep looking all over to see if someone came up with a solution.

now i' trying a new way:
iTunes can restore ANY firmware, even if there is a new one available. If someone can post a link where i can download the .ipws Apple's file, obiouvsly the older ones, i can try tell iTunes - by pressin ALT + the "restore button" to choose another ipsw file and try to bring back iPhone to 1.0.0 or 1.0.1 version. it worth a try...
can someone help me finding those files?
and PLEASE, any "admin" of this forum, can make this thread STICKY??
thanks in advance.
