Hi everyone, okay so I'm just going to jump right into it so I can get it going soon. My friend bought this phone, it was already unlocked/jailbroken. He used it gor a few weeks then the WiFi stopped working for him oneday. So he restored it back to 1.1.1, and still no WiFi or anything. So then he restores it to 1.1.2 And well, completely locked her up! Its showing the 0049#, with 04.02.13 baseband on it. I managed to get it down to 1.0.2, but its still stuck at 04.02.13, so now what the heck do I do?? I've tried reflashing the baseband looking at every possible forum on the internet...somethings just not going right. I restore it, boot it and jailbreak/then activate it. Then use iBrickr and install BSD subsystem, and terminal, then drop the files into usr/bin, and then excecute them like all the guides say. But the baseband doesnt seem to wanna erase or flash. And since I have no WiFi I can't SSH it or whatever. Could somebody please just lay it down for me!! I've been givin'er on this phone and just am not getting anywhere.

You have to find the right secpack and bb files for 1.1.2 firmware to be able to downgrade the bb. Ask around the forums and see if anyone have those files.

Please follow the instructions here (remove the spaces in all of the links below):

but instead of the secpack40113.bin (renamed to secpack) in step 8, use the secpack40213.bin (rename it to secpack). You can get that secpack from:

http:// iphone . fiveforty . net/wiki/index.php/Secpack1.1.2

Since you don't have SSH available, use iBrickr to install all of your files (installer, communitie sources, bsd subsystem, ssh, term-vt100). You will need the term-vt100 application to execute the commands on the iphone since you don't have ssh.

After you have downgraded the baseband, you can virginize the phone (
if still needed) according to the instructions here:

Hey thanks for the reply and help...okay so I got the new secpack, all the files necessary, I got ieraser2 im pretty sure its the right one its so hard to tell...So i put on 1.0.2, then activate/jailbreak fine, then i install all the files into usr/bin and the terminal/bsd subsystem app's. Start up terminal and then stop the com.apple.CommCenter the way i was told, that worked fine. Then i changed directory fine, then chmod, ieraser and bbupdater. So next I go to run ieraser and it does its thing but at the end says .. Hopefully the main flash was erased, wait for the next step...
so then i put in the bbupdater -v command, and where im SUPPOSED to get an pinging error, I dont?? It still shows 04.02.13_G. Im sure somebody knows whats wrong or if something certain has to be done to get around this. Help is greatly appreciated guys!!! Thanks again!

Still nothing, tryed everything I could think of.
tryed various attempts and many guides step by step.
made sure its the right secpack and still ieraser does not ERASE. Is there any other way to do this??
Because for some reason its just not working on my poor little phone.
