i got my iphone today
i went tosetting and turned on bluetooth but it just searches and doesnt do anything and doesnt give me the bluetooth icon in the top corner on the main screen. is there any reason for this?

After you turn it on does it show devices - searching?

nope.. it just seems to search and remains searching for ages and ages and doesnt find anything.. even though i have other phones near it with bluetooth enabled..

anyone give me any advise? also can you send pics from a mobile to a iphone via bluetooth?

it only works with bluetooth headset. you cannot send files or pictures using bluetooth on your iphone.
