Default Blue "play" indicator randomly appearing.

Does anyone else have a problem with the blue triangle "play" indicator randomly appearing in the upper-right of the screen? Opening the iPod app and playing/pausing anything makes it go away, but it always pops back up after a while, usually while I'm tooling around in Safari.

I'm running 1.1.1 unlocked with AnySIM, and I don't recall having this problem with 1.0.2. I've restored a few times, and the problem persists.

The first step is running your iPhone clean without any hacks (or a minimal amount of hacks) for a couple of days. If the problem stops, then it's just a matter of isolating the culprit.

Yeah, that was going to be my next course of action. I just wanted to see if anyone else had experienced the same problem.

    Thanks.

Same happened to me randomly. Donīt know why. I need to go to ipod, put a song on play and then pause so the play indicator dissapear.
Could it be something regarding safari ? Perhaps a cookie or a popup window ?
Cause it happend to me twice after using safari.
    Thatīs the story.

You guys should both list which apps you use, so we can determine which one is responsible. It must be one of the obscure ones because this problem doesn't appear to be widespread.

    hi there
happened to me a few times as well.
cannot reproduce it on demand, it is very very random and happens rarely.
    Interesting to find out.

I have noticed the same thing. I can not reproduce it though. It might also be related to plugging in/out of the headphones.
