[Battery] Life on Refurb iPhone

I bought one of the $249 iphones last week, jail broke it, and everything works fine. This is my first iphone, and im wondering what the average person is getting for battery life. I heard it was suppost to be excellent, but mine seems to die rather quickly. I charged it yesterday, and today its at 10% remaining...lasted about one whole day...and thats with light use of the phone feature and random internet browsing and watching a little video. Is that normal? or did they not replace the battery when they were refurbing it? Im hoping it doesnt already have a few hundred cycles on it.....

anybody?

That doesn't sound very good to me. I can go 3+ days between charges with that kind of usage. I leave wifi on all the time, check email every 15min, and have the screen set to auto dim. Hope that helps.

its in the settings menu but I think you have to have hacked settings for that....

i have the same problem. i'm taking the iphone back tomorrow. hope i can get it exchanged without the restocking fee.

are you just going to restore it to original and then say that its not lasting long at all? will they replace a refurb iphone without charging you $100 for the new battery?

my iphone last only a day my friends iphone last only a day my girlfriends iphone last only a day. Its normal for it to last a day,well its normal if you use it a lot.Like me i listen to music for like 2 hours straight ,watch a movie and surf the web.

on the receipt it says they charge 10% restocking fees on apple products.

when my iphone displays 20% battery left...it only lasts about 20 mins of internet use or youtube use. where my gf's iphone lasts 40-50 youtube mins.

Mine lasts one day too.

Use music about 1 hour, access web via EDGE frequently for short periods of time stock and news updates, email auto check every 15 minutes, emailing frequently throughout the day, bluetooth off always, wifi on always, screen backlight at about 50% with auto brightness on.
