[battery drain][possible solution] remove yahoo mail
hi guys,
this is what I had done for a solution to my battery drain problem. I had ziphoned it and downgraded my bootloader. Using bootneuter I had upgraded back to 4.6bl neutered. But still witnessing battery drain. Apart from removing ssh and navizon from my iPhone still there was a battery drain. Then what I checked is that I had yahoo on my iPhone and even though the mail settings is set for manual check but still I do recieve emails automatically possibly coz of its 'Push IMAP' feature. Using boss prefs I disabled yahoo mail and I only enable it on a need to check basis; and its been over a week now that I tested it and it seems to solve my battery drain problem. Earlier it used to last less than 24 hrs but now its more than 2 days easy. Try it out coz I know most of us do use yahoo mail
do let me know if it helps. Thanks
