    Default bash instead of sh

    Hello Forum!

I read the http://iphone.fiveforty.net/wiki/ind...k:Dropbear-ssh Page because i want to start bash with every login on my iPhone.

But i get the same problem written down in the bottom of the page

i am able to run bash from the sh prompt, but not at login. when i edit the master.passwd file from /bin/sh to /bin/bash and log in, i see the bash prompt as expected, but when i issue a command, i am immediately logged out with a connection closed message. i've got the appropriate files in place, with all of the correct permissions, but no explation. can someone lend a hand?

--I am also getting the same behavior, wether I ssh in, or use the vt100 emulator on the phone, i get kicked out right after i execute any commands when i set bash as the default shell for the root user. When i leave it as /bin/sh and then type 'bash' it works fine.

Is there any workaround to fix that Problem?

    Greetings from Germany

your ssh sucks. install openssh, respring, uninstall it, respring, and finally install it again.
This works most of the time.
