[Balance Notification] Is there a way to disable it after every call on gophone plan
Does anyone know if there is a way to block or disable that annoying balance notification message after every call when you use the AT&T gophone plan? It would be killer to be able to disable it.

To answer your question, to my knowledge and I have called AT&T about this exact same thing and their response was it is something the system does on their end, there is not much you can do with the exception of going to a regular 2yr min contract.
[B]Now on to the smarta$$ response fom meatwagon:
Actually my friend this is not the unlocking forum, it is the general section and I quote the threads title
General Questions, support. Everything which has no own place.
I think he posted in the correct section and for you to flame him with your ignorance should be a humiliating experience for such a bright, talented individual like yourself.
Have a great day!!

I would think there would be a plist setting that would disable all carrier service messages like the ones generated by *777# or these automated balance notification. Doesn't anyone know which plist to modify?

have tried that before, never worked for me. i learned to live with it, sorry. only "call forwarding" and "call forwarded" can be set to off via custom carrier bundle or customizing the existing one. I dont know of any setting for the above problem.
Read the stickies and search the forum before posting!

Me too. I was never able to remove this $@#$@# message, neither on the iphone, nor on any other phone. With GoPhone you must leave with it and some nasty side effects when the message comes and you are doing something else and it hangs (yes, this may happen).
But, we can't blame Apple or AT&T, as the iPhone is for the 2 years commitment plan only.....

All you have to do is log into your account here: https://www.paygonline.com/websc/index.jsp
Go down to "End of call notification" and turn it off.

Solution
1
Log in to the AT&T Wireless Pay As You Go Online website using your GoPhone phone number and your account password. The Account Summary page for your account should be displayed once you are logged in to the account.
2
Locate the "End of Call Notification" item in the account summary list. If you receive service reply messages to inform you of your remaining account balance after each call or text, then this item will be set to "On."
3
Click the "Edit" link beside the status that is listed for "End of Call Notification." The page will reload, changing the status listing to a drop-down menu that allows you to change the notification setting. A warning in red text will appear below the listing, informing you that turning off the "End of Call Notification" will result in you not being informed of your remaining balance after using your phone.
4
Change the "End of Call Notification" setting from "On" to "Off", then click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the screen. The page will refresh and a message in green text will appear at the top of the screen to inform you that the "End of Call Notification" setting has been changed to "Off."
