Default bad sync itunes refuses to sync

Hey I downloaded a demo of a game and then doubleclicked the .ipw icon. It loaded into itunes ok but when I went to sync it itunes kept telling me that the application is not signed right. What does this mean and how do you get around it? Thanks in advance.

This means that you do not have the rights to play the game you downloaded. Contact the developers of the demo and ask them to issue you a testing certificate. This contains a unique ID from your iPhone and will allow you to sync and run that app. The developer may say no as they are generally limited to 100 test certificates per app.
