    Default Australian Hardware Unlocks

So have many people in Australia done the hardware unlock yet? I read a post about the Sydney guy offering his services. I wonder how long it will be until it becomes spread across the continent.

Hey Trash Fancy seeing you here!

There are a few guys who have done it, and have posted it here, and the guy who is offering the service.

If there is no software unlock when I get mine (Monday) I will hardware unlock it and possible offer the service to anyone else interested, express post is quick between me and Melbourne.

I am in Sydney and have had mine unlocked since Monday.

Great phone, loving the attention it gets!

Wish it was capable of sending MMS's though...thats one thing miss.

I also have mine arriving early next week, and plan to do the Hardware Unlock if no alternative is available by then.

Im in Adelaide, and would be happy to help anyone uncomfortable with the process once mine is done.

    Regards, theunknown

Yep, you use the person's number and their providers' name in the email address. It's supposed to work a treat.

    Yes here there any everywhere.

I just dropped my phone and a mates off to Nicholai who is doing the unlocks in Sydney. I am sure it will be great when done. Highly recommend using him (Plug).

    O
do you know this for a fact?

so in the 'to field' i put '0402 222 222 optus'

and it will send an mms. i have to admit i am very sceptical.

i have wifi at home and at work, and the iphone email client automatically uses wifi as first preference when it is available.

how is '0402222222 optus' going to be recognised as a valid email address?
