Apptapp installer 3.1 "Bootstrap failed, see Console log!"
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I unlocked my phone last week throught the iPhone Dev Wiki Manual Guide (Mac).
Everything was great till the new iTunes 7.4.2
I read that I must update installer to 3.0+ before I download and connect to the new verson of iTunes. Well, when I tried to update apptapp throught the phone (wifi), it didnt work because it couldnt find the address or something - yes my wifi was working as I could install other apps. So....I used Fugu and deleted the installer in applications thinking I could just install the new version. installer does not show up on my springboard, and now when I try to install the new 3.1 I get the error "Bootstrap failed, see Console log!" I believe the version i had installed was 2.4 possibly 2.6
Question #1: How can I re-install the new 3.1?
Question #2: Im scared to connect to itunes worried I will get stuck in the reboot loop. With me deleting the installer from the applications folder, is it completely gone from the phone? If I cant update to 3.1 can I connect to itunes without trouble?
If you know a fix please let me know. Thanks!

When I double click the Installer-2.6.3.pxl I downloaded it opens Breezy, but again, nothing at all. Any ideas? Also, I dont remember the exact version of installer on my phone. If I can get Breezy to work should I just install the 2.6.3.pxl?
Do I have to use Breezy? What if I use Fugu to put the Installer-2.6.3.pxl in my applications folder on my phone. Would I be able to install it that way?

HELP PLEASE. I'm sure there is someone out there who knows exactly what to do.
Ok, I tried using my computer at work (xp) to use ibrickr. ibrickr will not connect to my phone. I am assuming that is because I did the unlock on a mac, and ive never used ibrickr on this phone. For some reason I cant get breezy to work on my mac either (earlier post). Whats the deal? any other ideas?
How do I get the latest version of AppTapp installer on my phone so I can use iTunes (mac)? - Read first post.
Thanks for the help

Update - Latest Problems - Again, any ideas?
I read somewhere that my phone must be returned to jail in order for the apptapp installer to install correctly from my mac. I opened independence and it connected to my phone. it said it was jail broken, not activated. I clicked "return to Jail" and got two errors:
1. "error opening destination file for writing on phone"
2. "error writing services.plst file to phone"
All I am trying to do is get installer.app 3.1 on my phone.
My unlocked phone works perfectly as it should with tmobile, I just cant connect to iTunes, because if I do, im sure I will get the endless reboot loop. Also Fugu works fine, which makes me wonder if anyone has the actual app that I can drag into my iphone's applications folder. (I cant install from either pc or mac, and I cant get a .pxl file on the phone because I cant get breezy on mac to work or ibrickr on pc to work either) Holy crap, this is frustrating.
I have been searching for answers for the past 3 days with no luck.
So far, either no one knows what to do, or they dont care to help. Please if you know a fix, it would be nice if someone could help.
you can get the .app folder out of the .pxl by changing the .pxl to .zip and unzipping then you can use fugu to put it on the phone
