Is there anyway to install appsnapp with out jailbreakme.com? I used jailbreakme, but deleted installer since I did not want any more apps on the phone. Well now I do! And I do not want to do a restore since I have moded a bunch of plists, icons, etc...

yeah just copy the program folder into your progam directory via ssh and restart ur phone

For that to work you first need to get the program folder somewhere and nullriver just refers to the jailbreakme.com site if it's for FW 1.1.1

someone actually sent me the new installer but when i install it and click the icon on springboard i just get a white screen. Is there some kind of file i need to reset or something? Almost all apps i install via ssh or ifuntastic do not work...

Well, just download the old version from nullrivers homepage. Extract the application, install and upgrade!

Can you do that? It says on their site not to download the old versions on a 1.1.1 phone, but other places I have heard it is ok. Anyone know this?

I used the old version on my 1.1.1 iPhone for weeks before the new version arrived.

so when I downloaded and unzipped it, there was a folder with the app in it and the graphics, then a plist not inside the folder - what do I acullaty install and where on teh phone?

Figured out how to install the older installer, however almost every app I install, after I click on the icon, it goes to the apps interface, then after a few seconds flashes back to the iphone home screen. The only app I was able to transfer onto the phone and get to work was an older version of finder 1.0.5 I beleive... Any other suggestions?!
