Does anyone know what apples view is on this issue. You may have seen my other thread "I dropped my iphone in the toilet" after a week of trying to fix it or maybe just praying it would fix itself, I am gonna go into the apple store and see what they say.

But if anyone has already done this please tell me what happened and what they have to say about it...

First of all how long have you had your phone? Also if you look down into the bottom of the headphone jack, there should* be a little white sticker. This is the water marker, if its red they will see it and they wont replace your phone. If its white, then your probably good to go.

If your outside the 14 days then i believe you will have to send it into apple and they will probably notice it has water damage whether the sticker is white or not....

i have had it for more then 14 days, what i really want to know is if they can fix it without buying a brand new one. i dont need to be spending a grand on cell phones

You received good advice on your previous post... did you try any of them?

Give that this a good rinse in distilled water!

I personally promise you will not break it more than it already is
