Here's the story.
I bought an iPhone a while back off Craigslist.
Came with a receipt and everything; on the apple website it shows that there is warrantee until Aug-02-2008.
Now after a week or so I noticed a bubble in the glass near the top right corner of the LCD, it's not a crack or a scratch its just a bubble, everything else works fine.
So I restored the iPhone to 1.1.2 (mistake I know) as I didn't think apple would service an unlocked iPhone.
So I scheduled a service call at an Apple store in Plano, got there and they looked at the phone and said it's a manufacture defect bla bla bla, and they should replace the unit.
Then they started giving me BS about not having the AT&T SIM card in the phone, and that the SIM card is a part of the phone and if I want the phone serviced then I need to SIM card.... so I went home hoping that the guy I got the phone from has the SIM card, he told me that he is using the card on a Tilt and can't give me the card.
I went through apple website and there is an article that says that if you send in the phone you must take the SIM card out of the phone and then send the phone in.
So I printed that out and went to that Apple store again, they gave me some more BS about not having the SIM card, and the biggest aggravating thing was that the Idiot that helped me told me "you can't even see the blemish and I don't understand why you're making such a big thing about it".
I paid for the phone and I want it how it should be!!!!
So I orderd a prepaid SIM card off eBay and tomorrow I will try to go back to the apple store again.... let see what happens.

Just got back from the Apple store in Plano, and as you all know I put the Sim card that I bought off eBay - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWN:IT&ih=020
Cost me 3.98$.
Went in with the iPhone, took 10 minuets and I was out with a brand new iPhone version 1.1.1

Register your iPhone on apple website.
I put the iPhone on my name so they didn't give me any hassle about a receipt (although I did have one)
I'm still going to go at them with a format complaint, I spent my time and money going there three times.
