Jobs is the next Bill Gates
With the reduction of price on the iphone I am sure that they are selling a lot of phones right now.
If Steve Jobs lives a lot more years I can predict that he will be richer than bill gates, and also see the day where mac os x is running on every single pc on the world, digging windows to a grave.
I can see how Steve Jobs will end at the top of the tech/soft business while Bill Gates ends running his foundation.
What could be this world without Steve Jobs?

totally agree, except osx on any single pc (still could be). anyway, buy some apple shares, 3 q. 07 results will be awesome. still have 20 days left to sell iphones for the cheap price. additionally, ubs said last friday, with the 100$ give back for every sold iphone, apple could cost up to 100 mio$. so what, in store credit, everybody will buy a new ipod nano for 49 bucks = result 1 mio x 49 bucks = at least 50 mio more for apple....

The first step to release mac os x on every single pc has been released, they are slowly making some important changes that are going to let pc users install mac os x on their machines.
1- Apple changes to intel processors, first step to open their os to pc computers.
2- Release of boot camp, they are testing windows on their machines and also studying windows drivers, etc, etc.
When everything is ready Apple is going to sell mac os x for PCs, that is going to be a kick on the a** for Bill Gates.
This battle has not ended and I predict that Jobs will be the winner.

a credit is a credit - it will still be 100mio in lost revenue but the cost to apple will be much much lower as they can chose which products can be 'bought' with the credit notes - but apple will get nothing out of it so your post is technically incorrect.
