***Apple replaced my unlocked Iphone***
Well I fried my Iphone to the point of not booting so when I took it in they replaced it with a 1.1.1 phone (04.01.13_G) I used jailbreakme.com to install apptapp installer!
What should I use to unlock if Im looking to upgade later anysim 1.1 or ipsf? Or do I need to use anysim 1.2 or is that just for 1.1.2? If thers a better way out there please let me know....
Is it unusual to have a new 1.1.1 (replacement) Iphone that doesnt have the activate screen because this one I got didnt!!
Thanks

DON'T USE IPSF.
My suggestion is to use anySIM 1.1.1 on 1.1.1 (and stay there).

Congrats on getting the replacement. Here's a couple tips:
When i got my replacement iphone, it didn't have the activate screen either, but it's a red herring. When you try to sync with itunes, it will tell you that you have to activate with an at&t sim card. The refurb/return units all seem to be this way. What you will want to do is restore your phone (back to 1.1.1, download that first before restoring and do the option+click restore method to choose it), and then activate it and jailbreak a second time (since the restore wipes that out). I used the emergency dial workaround to get to jailbreakme.com so that it would do the activation and jailbreak all in one step.
anySIM 1.1 should be fine. I actually did that prior to finding out that my phone wasn't actually updated. After I restored and jailbroke, the unlock still worked fine. I personally haven't seen anything about 1.1.2 that makes it seem worth the trouble of upgrading.
