I always thought that Carlos Slim, would bring the iPhone to Latin America, since he is ne of the big owners of AT&T Wireless, and ex former owner of Cingular. But it sems that Telefonica did it first.

It's not official as it says in the title.
The website states it is a Rumor of a possible negociation. Brazil doesn't even have Movistar. Telefonica only owns part of Vivo Telecom in here.

I'm hoping that becomes true...
