I can't believe this.. i just spendet 599$ for my iphone 2 weeks ago.. this is ridicolous price drop, i mean 100$ would be not so bad but 200$ ??? thats an new ipod nano 8gb extra!!!

I am upset, but must admit I have had $200 worth of fun in the past months with this thing.

But once again Apple has found another way to piss me off.

My friend bought 2x 4GB last week. He is going to return both (you have 14 days to return) and will buy 2x new 8GB. If it works I will post in here.

Sorry dude, no sympathy there. I see why U.S. based customers could feel frustrated about the price drop. But as an overseas buyer, you knew the iPhone wouldn't work in your country. Don't blame Apple for your decision to buy it anyway!

Ever hear of a company called AT&T? Apparently they will let you use your iPhone as a phone. You may not know this, but they are the only company that Apple has signed a contract with at the moment.

Oh, you mean you want to use it with another carrier? Well, guess what, most people knew they would have to wait for it to get unlocked at the time they bought it to do that.

And no, you won't get the rest back, why would you? You were perfectly happy when you walked into the Apple store (or however you got it) and agreed to pay the retail price at the time. Or did you try and haggle the price down to $399? No? Then quit whining. And that goes everyone.

Products always go through price drops. As the price of memory goes down so does the price of the gadget. Same with computers, digital cameras, memory cards.

These things happen, you should have waited a year and then bought one.
