Arrow Appears next iphone firmware update will FIX international number format issue

Looks international iPhone users can all look forward to a fix to the "international number format/SMS display" issue. Had a quick flick through the PDF manual for the iPod Touch on Apple's site and under Settings > International > Region Format appears which allows one to change the telephone number formats for your region.

Hope this gets moved into the iphone update too.

I think it would be a while until we would be able to apply this update. Read: It is highly probable that the update will re-lock the phones.

I hope not - I am using the TurbSIM method at the moment, I hope the modem update from firmware install will not reck that method useless too!
