So, I want to get a 3g iphone, but I do not want to sign up for a stupid contract. I have the 1st gen iphone, and I remember that all i would need to do is go to the apple store, and just buy it there, but from what I've read on the apple website, they make you sign on-site after purchasing it. I live in Canada, but going to the states would not be a problem.
