Default Any successful attempts to change the iPhone speaker?

Sure everyone would agree that the speaker sucks. Any success, in trying to replace that with something better? Yes after opening the phone.

I think you'd probably find the speaker in the iPhone probably the best it can be for its size. The smaller speakers are, the "tinnier" the sound. I wont go into the physics of it, but for any sort of good bass you'd need a much larger speaker. Hence the reason subwoofers in cars etc. are huge compared to "normal" speakers. I think Apple have just done the best they can with the space they have. I don't think changing the speaker would make it better, probably only worse.

My sony ericsson sound much better than iPhone! I agree with your science. But I am sure, apple could have done something better.
