Well, looks like 2 companies now are releasing it around Sept 1st..

I don't trust anyone... anymore...

I for one like that this "crap" is posted. It's quite clear that there is significant demand for a software unlock so it makes sense that there are quite a few hackers out there trying to capitalize on this demand. It's not an easy process to break down such sophisticated software/hardware usage controls... hence the current need to crack the iPhone open in order to free it from AT&T. To do this solely with software obviously has been even more difficult and soon one of these hackers is going to get ballsy enough to actually release the solution. When they do myself and I'm sure a great number of others with iPhones will be lining up to get our hands on it. I welcome any more information or leads to a quicker unlock of my iPhone.

how come you think those guys are a company? They state to be hackers and state to release it free of charge. If they have one they will release it on the 1st, if not, well life goes on. In the meantime I would prefer you guys not posting the same shite you are posting here over at their forum. Honestly, the usual "OMGWTFBBQ you have no proof so you are a fuxing scammer" posting are getting boring and not to say annoying.

i think that the only hope to have SW unlock is the dev team...
the others are only bastard spammers.
for now... HW unlock... and hope that in the next update apple don't change the modem firmware..
