Annoying WAP sites
Hello-
Anyone out there encountered sites that force you into a pared-down WAP site, even though the iPhone has a full html & xhtml browser? Does this irritate you?
I'm a reporter for BostonNOW, a daily newspaper in Boston, Mass. I'm working on a story about a site here that does just that: www.mbta.com. It's the Web site for the public transit agency here in Boston.
I'm looking for iPhone users who can either comment on why the forced WAP is a disadvantage - or, alternatively, users who know a way around it. (I've tried a few and I'm stumped.) Please post here or, better yet, email me: gmoore@BostonNOW.com.
Thank you.

it only checks the browser at the main page, you can get around it by going to a sub-page like mbta.com/accessibility directly

you can go to somthing like mtba.com/a and you will get a page not found. Then you can navagate the normal site, just dont click MTBA Home -it will take you back to the mobile page.
