I just heard about an incoming call problem here in south africa. About no incoming calls, but if someone tries to call u while u are in an outgoing call, it comes through ?

Is this the same for other places with incoming problems ? Please chekc!

That's exactly the case in some other iphone unfriendly networks. The symptoms are the same: no incoming calls whatever simcard you use from the provider (prepayd or plan). No incoming calls if you are roaming with an original AT&T card. But:
- if you forward the call to another sim card from the same provider, it passes.
- if you are calling in the same moment, it comes through
It's clearly related to a bad marriage of the iphone and the provider network.

Can I ask if you're on MTN, Vodacom or Cell-C ? Have you tried a sim from each of them in your iphone?

has anyone tried to forward the call to another sim, then make that sim forward it to the sim that is being used in the iphone ? lol

fierce , it works on mtn,cellc,virgin, everything expect vodacunts lol

Wouldn't that be an infinite loop situation??

The ##002# is used to clear all call waiting, call barring, call forwarding and something else. I had the same problem with incoming calls with my Thai AIS SIM card - this was one of the solutions that my service provider's tech support gave - it didn't work - nor did any of the GSM codes. This isn't a call forwarding issue.
