    Default [Advice] Screen Problem

    Hi all,

    I recently encountered an iPhone with a strange problem and i wondering if anyone has the same problem or is able to help me solve it.

    When I try to use the search function in Maps, I just couldn't get it to open up the keyboard. At first it seems like a problem with the top part of the screen, because when i switch to the directions tab, i couldn't press the edit or cancel button at the top. But the thing is, I could press on the top of the screen in any other applications. The only other one application that encountered the same problem with the top part of the screen is iZoo. I couldn't press anything at the top to start a new game or change the theme.

    I've tried restoring it to 1.1.4 and using iLiberty+ to unlock (previously it was running 1.1.3 ZiPhone 2.5) coz i tot it was another bug by caused by the Z. Still same problem occurs. Any advice from anyone? I doubt its a hardware problem...

    i had some strange issue like that in former iAno. Very strange, if i was too fast for the keyboard, i couldnt press anymore. and the keyboard was like "stuck."
    My FW way:
    1.1.1 JB/unlocked ->1.1.3 JB/unlocked ->1.1.1 locked ->1.0.2 JB/unlocked ->1.1.1 JB/unlocked. ->1.1.2 JB/locked ->fxxcked up not booting ->
    1.1.1 JB/unlocked ->1.1.2 JB/unlocked ->1.1.3 JB/unlocked ->fxxcked up, spinning wheel of death ->restored 1.1.3 ->1.1.3 JB/unlocked -> 1.1.4 JB/unlocked ... Now 3.1.3

    well, for me it was not a matter of typing too fast or wat. It just seems like the top part of the screen is not working. But its only in the case of Maps and iZoo.

    Have you tried increasing sensitivity by enabling the touch settings menu?

    Replace the standard General.plist pref plist with that one.
