You can buy a prepaid sim card from Wind, then activate Wind No Limit (3€/month) promotion to get 750 MB edge/gprs prepaid internet traffic.
Actually this is the cheapest one.
The APN to set is "internet.wind".
(Also Vodafone and TIM give you gprs network access, but they are more expensive)

great!
I'we been to 3 phone stores already and none of the salesmans knew the apn server name :-)
I'll give this a try tomorrow. Any idea what this 3 euro package is called in italian? Also, do you know the apn for TIM or vodafone if I'm not able to locate WINK?

with vodafone you can actually use gprs for free (first week then is 2€/week) but you are required to use wap.omnitel.it so the navigation is pretty poor as the sites are shown in their wap version

I bought a card from vodafone and put in the apn server but the internet doesnt work, it just loads for ever, any idea what mght be wrong?
I also bought a wind card. It works but loading one site costs me around 2-3 euros :-(
I'we tried talking to the salesmen in the store and alling the 155 service number to get this "wind no limit" but since I dont speak italian I'we had no luck. Any idea what this package that I need is called in italian?
