Default [Advice] Do you protect your iPhone? Is this really necessary?

Im really confused about iPhone Protection accessories. I mean, are them really necessary? My iPhone has 3 months and I used to protect it the first days with a sillicon case but it was really ugly, so I decided to use just the film protector for the screen. Yesterday I removed it because it was getting old and bubbles appeared.
So I want to know if its worth buying a new screen protector. Ive seen scratching test videos at youtube but also a scratched iPhone video.
    What do you think about?

    Cheers

The iphones screen is glass, which is scratch resistant. Anything strong enough to scratch your iphone's screen is going to go right through the screen protector. The only purpose of screen protectors for the iphone is to gain profits for the company that sells them.

It's a $400 investment. It would be foolish not to invest $25-$35 to protect it. As a good phone as the iPhone is it's easily susceptible to dents and scratches on it's aluminum shell and the glass can break.

I agree the glass is pretty resistant to scratches. I have the anti glare screen protector solely to keep smudges and fingerprints off the screen, it works pretty good.

I use a sheild zone full plastic wrap, check them out at sheildzone dot com, they have a life time garantee, agianst scratches.

I bought mine on promotion half price 12 or 13 dollars.

A little patience is needed to fit them but still retains the iphone look with ruberised plastic protection.

    Recommended !

I also have a white Capsule which is a good tight fit anyway, but can still be fitted over the sheildzone protector, and no need to use bad fitting capsule protectors, Tricky trying to remove it again,

    So I've left it off
