Default Advice to the Dev Team

Folks if you do happen to manage a workaround to the 1.1.1 revision do us all a favour and keep it to yourself. The 1.1.1 firmware revision, quite frankly, is useless and adds very little to the iPhone.

Leopard is being released this month, and Christmas is fast approaching. Two compelling reasons for apple to release a more significant, feature rich update to the iPhone.

At least that is my opinion. I think every time you guys re-open the iphone to us, you make it harder the next time around. So I personally think its best to atleast hold out until something worthwhile pops up.

Also fuck you Apple for screwing us.

Hey Skinny why would you dicourage Dev team from unlocking 1.1.1, Try & understand that there are so many people out there who have got their phones re-locked & many of us still waiting for our iPhones.

Though we are unsure of the F/W that we will be getting, still just because we guys know that the dev team is there to help us out of this mess, We are truely banking on Dev team to unlock 1.1.1.

And i agree with your expression towards Apple, they realy screwed us.

ALL THE BEST DEV TEAM! We all are waiting...

You know, dude, I'm not usually so harsh on people, but you really need to get the hell out of here. There are more people on this forum than just you, and many of us feel that the 1.1.1 update would be excellent if it was hackable. Stop being so selfish.

Well, understanding from what you wrote here i'm guessing that you have a working iPhone in one way or another.
I have one aswell and being very lucky got it just few days before the FW change so i was able to unlock it.

I know for sure that if i would get the phone few days later i would sit day and night wishing to have the 1.1.1 ver to be unlocked aswell.

Always try to think what you would do in the same position as the ppl that dont have there iPhone unlocked/working now.

I'm sure that if you were in there position now you would say different stuff here.

It is rather selfish of you to tell the dev team to keep the 1.1.1 hack to themselves. There are a lot of people who have bought the iPhone after the 1.1.1 release OR accidentally upgraded (I am neither).

I don't know how else to say this, but you sir, are a douche bag. Enough said.

I wonder if the title of the thread can be prefaced with "BAD."

Each subsequent version that the team works on gives them more insight into how Apple is attempting to thwart access to the device. Apple will likely continue to evolve its methods (unless they finally wake up); the Dev Team will evolve as well. Ignoring it until a version comes out that appeals to you is likely going to make it more difficult.

We must not think only about ourselves , we have 1.02 version but other people upgraded their phones to the new vesion accidently , so please don't dicourage the Dev Team to find out a solution for this new update 1.1.1 , i think also it is new step for the Dev Team to know more about the Iphone sofware and in the future Apple will give up Still good things in the 1.1.1 version , Itune WIFI ......
