the address book and itunes on unactivated phone
I have an activated iphone in the UK using the DVD John method.
I'm wondering if anyone has transferred their contacts across into their iphone yet? And if so - how did you do it?
I can input them manually but I have about 500 contacts so it would take some time. I'm assuming on a normally activated phone there is a contacts list in itunes that allows you to import previous address books. At the moment when I plug my iphone into the computer it just comes up with an option to activate the phone to AT&T which I'm obviously not going to do.
Anyone else with experience on this?
Or maybe you live in the states and have an iphone and can explain how the the contacts section works on a normally activated iphone?
Love to hear from anyone on this,
Thanks,
x

It collects contacts from wherever you choose in iTunes in the iPhone tab. Mine ie. gets the contacts from Outlook. iTunes can collect contacts from most common mail/contact registers. It also automatically collected my IMAP configurations.
