Howto: Add new contact while call is in progress.
Hi,
today I wanted to write down phone number that a friend was spelling me on a phone (i.e. I was talking with him on phone and he was spelling me name and phone of a third guy) - is this possible? I ended up writing it to notes and then memorizing it and writing the contact by heart.
If someone found a settings in a plist that would allow edits while call is in progress, please share. Since vCard SMSs do not work either, it is very hard to receive new contacts from people and calling a person and asking them to recite the number for you doesn't work either.

Finally found a way to add new contact while you're talking to someone on the phone - just unhide contact app using i.e. Customize (the one with brown icon). While calling run Contacts (i.e. do not tap "Contacts" in the call menu, but press Home and run Contacts app) and voila, there will be a "+" button

Install Customize application, run it and select "Icon Display Order". In a list that appears, drag "MobileAddressBook" from section Hidden to the main list, press Save.
Now while on call, press Home and run "Contacts" from list of applications. It will display the normal address book, not the castrated "on-call" version.
