I have an activation problem with my iPhone. At one point or another, I had it on a tmobile account, purely for informational purposes, as I use AT&T anyway...but that's not the point. As I attempted to upgrade to 1.1.1, I was of course locked out, incorrect SIM at activation. I have restored to 1.0.2 in hopes of being able to "virginize" my phone again. The problem now comes that I can't complete activation in order to get to a point where I can rewrite the baseband. I've tried several activation methods, but I can't seem to get any of them to work. Can anyone recommend an activation method or a way to fix the baseband in order to allow for activation?

Thanks, that worked great. What about some sort of "virginization?" Does any exist yet? I know that there are articles that claim to work, I tried one of them but to no avail..

I don't need to unlock, I just want it working on AT&T again, 1.0.2 or 1.1.1, it doesn't really matter, I just want it to work. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction?

a virginization was out for a couple of days using a fake IPSF server. the server is down now and you will have to wait till its back up again. Keep your eyes posted on the fourm im sure someone will start it again soon, apparentlly 2200 people used it to clean their basebands.
