This may have been dealt with before but I have searched and drew a blank so apologies if Im being thick!

I activated my iPhone with the DVDJon Method on my XP PC with no problem whatsoever and sync'ed with itunes on the PC... All OK!!

Now Ive decided that I want to sync with my G5 PPC instead and itunes wont even see my iPhone when I connect it?!

Ive tried the mac softwares to see if I need to use any of them but none seem to work. Iphone Tool tells me that it cant find the image.
iActivator tries to open on the dock and just closes straight away.

Am I missing something here? Please help, ive been at this all day and I think its time the experts told me where I am going wrong

Anyone any ideas on the above??
