    Unhappy activated or not activated?

    OK. the situation:

the phone functions as everything but a phone via SW activation tool, which i was expecting.

    The problem: itunes.

So my phone APPEARS activated but anytime I hook it up to itunes I am given that at&t prompt for registration. I can connect to iBrickr w/no problems which makes me believe my phone is "fake activated".

If i can't get access to my phone via itunes there is no way for me to load all my goodies on there. (mp3s, videos, etc) :-(

I uninstalled and reinstalled itunes and also tried diff versions. same thing.

    SO --
#1 did i successfully fake-activate my phone? (it appears not)
#2 what did i do wrong
#3 how do i fix it?

    thank you

    marie

in addition: if i do a reboot my phone will tell me once that i have an "incorrect sim" and that i should connect to itunes to REACTIVATE. but i can dismiss that message, it goes away and the phone still works and isn't locked up.

honestly, NOBODY else has experienced this? i can't be the only one.

it's bad enough not having an iphone as a phone... but not even being able to use the ipod on the phone is double sucky.

please help if you can. i really would appreciate it.
