This may me a noob question but i couldnt really find it on the website.

I have an AT&T account.

I took my phone out of the box(fw 1.01 updated to 1.02) and ACTIVATED it with itunes.
I jailbreak into it and did everything with it expect for SIM UNLOCKING it.

I have fw 1.02 and i go back home for christmas for a month and i want to use my simcard from over there with my Iphone.

Which program is the BEST to use to unlock my iphone. And will PHONE functions and everything work after i unlocked it.(because i activated it with itunes will my iphone function the same or will i brick it??)

So basically my main question is: Can i unlock my activated iphone without bricking or breaking it.. and what is the best program to use..

I searched aroudn but i couldnt find an answer for already activated phones...

Jailbreak it and do the "pre-upgrade" with iNdependence, then upgrade to 1.1.1. The Activate and jailbreak again, and use anySIM 1.1.1 to unlock.

btw, iNdependence 1.3 added automated anySIM 1.1.1 installation.

You can use anySIM 1.1 right away if you don't want to upgrade to 1.1.1. Or you can follow the steps above to upgrade.
